At Be Well, our mission is to empower our clients to thrive in their wellness and find their own purpose and worth through fitness, nutrition, meditation, and talk therapy. Hannah, Be Well's owner and coach, is an Occupational Therapist, Group Fitness Instructor, and has been trained in various forms of meditation and mindful movement. She is passionate about her clients and commits to each one to achieve their specific goals.
It is our wish that through educating and coaching our clients, we will influence our community to choose wellness as a priority and change the image of our society's view on health.
THE "BE WELL" STORY
Be Well was a blessing in disguise for me. Along with a lot of people in our community, the global pandemic known as COVID-19 left me without a job, juggling kids at home, and struggling to find my "new normal". Along with this came a question, "How can I best serve my community?". As an OT, I have worked with varied populations from children with feeding problems, to adults with spinal cord injuries. I have also spent many years teaching fitness classes to pre-and-post partum mothers. I guess you could say I have dabbled in all ages and stages. However, it has recently become apparent to me the importance of finding BALANCE in our WELLNESS. Having to use trial and error to find my own level of balance in my life, I have researched everything from psychology and talk therapy, to intermittent fasting and carb-cycling. I have worked on meal plans, created fitness training plans, taken courses in meditation and mindfulness, and have worked to create a program that is able to be tailored to each client on an individual level. Wellness is comprised of several layers (physical, nutritional, spiritual, intellectual, social, and emotional) each always ebbing and flowing based on external and internal changes. Be Well is a wellness program designed to collaborate with you on goals that are important to you and keep you accountable along the way!
